Job Purpose
Join us as a Scientific Writer and play a key role in delivering high-quality medical communications across various formats. You will be responsible for developing scientific content including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, symposia materials, publication plans, and internal educational resources—supporting cross-functional medical and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original scientific content across a range of medical communication deliverables, ensuring scientific rigor, accuracy, and alignment with client objectives.
- Research and write content for publications (e.g., primary/secondary manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters), and scientific presentations.
- Create comprehensive materials for advisory boards, satellite symposia, and internal/external meetings.
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate messaging.
- Ensure content adheres to internal quality standards, GPP3 guidelines, and publication best practices.
- Conduct quality control, proofread documents, and manage references using appropriate citation tools.
- Actively participate in publication planning and strategy development.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, authors, and clients through regular communications and feedback sessions.
- Mentor junior writers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
- Support team operations, project tracking, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Travel may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications
Education: Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline. Preferred: MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in medical writing or medical communications. Proven track record of high-impact scientific publications and communication materials. Strong understanding of publication planning and industry best practices (GPP3, ICMJE). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reference management software.
