A global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Medical Affairs Graduate to join its UK Medical Affairs team. This is an excellent opportunity for a life sciences graduate looking to begin a career within medical affairs and gain exposure to a broad range of scientific, regulatory and cross-functional activities.

The Role

The Medical Affairs Graduate will support the medical team across a range of medical affairs activities and will develop into a subject matter "data expert" within their assigned therapeutic area. The role plays an important part in ensuring that healthcare professionals receive accurate, balanced and evidence‐based information to support optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of the therapeutic area, disease landscape, medical affairs function, drug development process and UK healthcare system
  • Support delivery of the Medical Affairs Plan, including:
  • Advisory boards
  • Medical education meetings and projects
  • Data generation initiatives
  • Congress and event excellence
  • Support review of promotional and non‐promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and integrity
  • Upload, reference and manage educational and scientific materials within internal approval systems
  • Support development of high‐quality briefing materials, presentations and training documents
  • Provide administrative and logistical support including:
    • Budget tracking
    • Meeting coordination
    • Organisation of itineraries and logistics
    • Compilation of materials to support complaints processes

    Education & Qualifications

    • Degree in Life Sciences, Medicine or Pharmacy (including completion of pre‐registration pharmacy exams)
    • Knowledge of the MHRA Blue Guide is desirable but not essential

    Experience

    • Experience within UK healthcare and/or the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous but not required
    • Suitable for recent graduates with a strong interest in medical affairs
