Type: 12 Month Temporary Contract

SRG is working with a leading beauty and cosmetics manufacturer in Hampshire who are looking for a Quality Technician to join the team. This is a great opportunity to carry out quality control inspections, audits and GMP compliance checks across incoming components and manufacturing operations. It would suit someone with experience in a QC or QA role within a GMP manufacturing environment, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals or another heavily regulated industry or recent graduates looking to gain experience in industry.

Working Hours: Mon to Friday 40 hours per week, 07:00am - 15:00pm

25 days holiday plus 8 statutory holidays

Role / Description

  • Performing inspections and audits across products, processes and documentation, checking they meet the required standards, compliance and safety expectations on incoming components and the manufacturing floor
  • Evaluating components and third-party products against specification
  • Conducting daily GMP compliance checks across the plant
  • Supporting Operations with basic in-process tests such as weight checks, torque tests, viscosity and pH testing
  • Escalating and reporting any out-of-spec products or processes to management
  • Supporting deviation handling, troubleshooting and CAPA effectiveness checks
  • Providing on-the-job guidance to Operations on quality and operational procedures
  • Contributing to site-level and wider global quality programmes to help maintain compliance across key areas of the business

Requirements

  • Experience in a QC or QA role within a manufacturing environment, OR a degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Comfortable using standard inspection equipment such as scales, torque testers or pH meters for in-process testing (desirable, not essential)
  • Available to start immediately

Sponsorship is not available for this role. Visa applicants can still be considered, provided you already hold the right to work in the UK for the full 12-month duration of the contract.
