We’re hiring Production Operators for Evaluation or Smelting roles to support the safe and efficient processing of chemicals. What You’ll Do:
- Support the operations team to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Perform tasks as directed by the Production Lead, ensuring performance standards.
- Conduct basic maintenance checks and report issues to maintain safety.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and documentation (risk assessments, process instructions).
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Evaluation Role:
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and storage of chemicals with precision.
Smelting Role:
- Handle higher levels of manual tasks and navigate stairs routinely.
- Work in a dusty environment (RPE provided).
- Use computer systems (e.g., Traksys) for inventory and paperwork.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous chemical processing or manufacturing experience (mandatory).
- Education: GCSE grade C or equivalent in Chemistry, Maths, and English (or equivalent experience).
- Skills: Strong written and verbal English for accurate documentation.
- Requirements: Non-smoker (due to chemical handling); able to perform manual tasks; open to 24/7 day and night shifts.
- Smelting-Specific: Comfortable in a dusty environment with RPE and frequent stair climbing.
