SRG are delighted to be working with one of Scotland\’s most innovative scientific start-ups to support in their search for both graduates and more experienced hires to join their production chemistry site based in the West End of Glasgow.
This company have received vast amounts of investment both public and private and are now looking to scale up their production operations. They have recently opened a brand new first of it\’s kind facility and are looking to fill the team with a number of new hires.
The Role
As production chemist you will work as part of the scientific operations shift team and will assist in setting up automated chemical reactions, as well as general lab maintenance & cleanliness (Stock solutions, preparation of raw materials, glassware maintenance). alongside this you will communicate with other teams to ensure lab maintenance is up kept across the business and to collaborate on cross-disciplinary tasks.

- Perfect for recent or upcoming chemistry graduates looking for their first role in industry (other relevant degrees will be considered)
- Candidates with industry experience will be highly valued
- Must be hard-working and be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute
- Must be flexible and agile to work shifts in a fast-moving environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of safe laboratory practices
- Ideally with hands-on experience of analytical, purification or synthetic chemistry
