Job Type – Contract (12 months)

The Role:

Deliver high-quality educational support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) within multidisciplinary teams, enhancing their clinical knowledge and confidence in using AbbVie’s products within approved therapeutic areas and indications. This includes facilitating understanding and appropriate use of designated treatments and medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a positive HCP experience with AbbVie therapies by providing consistent clinical and educational guidance.
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with HCPs at both national and key account levels.
  • Be recognized as a credible and valued educational resource through the delivery of impactful clinical support.
  • Stay current with in-depth technical knowledge of therapeutic areas, AbbVie’s portfolio, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and support target accounts across the national landscape.
  • Provide valuable insights and share best practices to inform national and regional account strategies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support HCPs and improve patient outcomes, using innovative approaches to address challenges and leverage strategic opportunities.
  • Track progress and outcomes of agreed initiatives as outlined in national and territory account plans.
  • Contribute to team development by sharing expertise, tools, and training techniques with colleagues.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and represent AbbVie as a trusted ambassador.

Experience & Desired Attributes:

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in Neurology or Spasticity-related settings.
  • Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Physiotherapist, Nurse) with current NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and build influential relationships.
  • Confident presenting at national, regional, and local clinical events.
  • Sound understanding of the NHS structure, including relevant policies and the broader healthcare landscape.
  • Proficiency in business tools and virtual engagement platforms, particularly for remote interactions.
  • Strong communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
