Job Title: MRP Controller
One of our clients is seeking a skilled and highly organized MRP Controller to manage and coordinate their manufacturing planning schedules and ensure that customer programs are met on time. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks focused on managing manufacturing schedules, coordinating material procurement, and delivering logistics management activities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and procurement of materials to ensure a timely and adequate supply for manufacturing.
- Release, manage, and schedule work in the MRP system, ensuring accurate delivery forecasts are communicated to customers.
- Maintain efficient material inventories in line with targets, minimizing excess waste and costs.
- Regularly conduct stock checks to maintain MRP system accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Supply Planner to address potential plan changes and resolve supply chain constraints.
- Identify and escalate any risks related to supplied parts to the planning and control team lead.
- Coordinate with Goods Receiving, Stores, and Dispatch (Logistics Services) to manage inventory levels and ensure MRP system accuracy.
- Support non-conformance management controls and ensure proper paperwork for transactions.
- Maintain the manufacturing bill of materials and ensure that master data is current.
- Help achieve schedule adherence, inventory, and delivery KPIs by executing the planning process efficiently.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related role.
- APICS Supply Chain Certification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with SAP is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
