We are seeking an experienced UK&I Commercial Manager to drive commercial policy design, pricing governance, and data-led decision making across the UK & Ireland region. Working closely with the Trade Channel Management Lead, Finance Director, Sales, Customer Services, and Business Excellence teams, you will ensure commercial policies are robust, compliant, and aligned to market dynamics and growth objectives.
This is a highly analytical and strategic role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and advanced data capability.
Commercial Strategy & Governance- Review and optimise commercial policy structures across all customer groups, ensuring appropriate tiering aligned to market demand.
- Monitor and analyse Average Selling Price (ASP) to maintain brand positioning and market competitiveness.
- Deliver quarterly and ad-hoc reporting to inform pricing decisions and commercial strategy.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GDPR, competition law, and regulatory standards.
- Identify profit and growth opportunities using market intelligence and analytical tools.
- Act as the primary contact for sales queries relating to pricing and commercial policy application.
- Own and deliver reporting for the Trade Channel Lead and senior stakeholders, ensuring “One aligned truth” across commercial functions.
- Develop dashboards (Power BI) and maintain automated reporting processes.
- Maintain high data quality and governance standards across the trading organisation.
- Partner with Customer Services to provide commercial insights and inventory analysis.
- Collaborate with The Healthexchange agency to ensure commercial parity across direct and agency accounts.
- Support cross-functional alignment with Business Excellence on future-fit data governance initiatives.
Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field (preferred).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar commercial role within pharma and/or medical devices.
Proven experience developing and managing commercial policies.
Strong background in pricing analysis, sales reporting and commercial governance.
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, functions, pivot tables).
Expert Power BI skills including DAX and Power Query.
Experience with relational databases, data cubes (SSAS), and large dataset integration.
Strong commercial and analytical acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
Experience leading change initiatives and improving commercial processes.
