SRG are excited to be working with a well-established life sciences organisation who are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer on a full-time permanent basis and to join at a very exciting time for the business.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing all plant and equipment to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. The role will involve ensuring that all plant and equipment operates within its agreed specification to guarantee safety of operators and to minimise the cost of production for clients.
The position will be site based in Stirling and 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include 30 days holidays + 4 Scottish statutory bank and public holidays, Pension scheme, critical illness insurance, death in service benefit and an annual bonus scheme. There is also great development opportunities available.
There is overtime available and you must have some flexibility around working additional hours.
Requirements:
- HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering- degree level qualification would be desirable
- Recent experience of working in a regulated environment in a broad engineering or technical capacity.
- Mechanical/Electrical/Maintenance bias all considered.
- Change control management.
- Equipment and facilities maintenance and repair.
- Management of contractors.
- Working knowledge of clean room standards and medicinal product regulations.
- Good understanding of Laboratory/clean room processing equipment and facility services. (Balances, pumps, VLAF cabinets, Plant Steam, Clean steam WFI, HVAC etc.).
- Understanding of GMP guidelines.
