SRG are working with an established engineering and construction business in County Durham who are looking to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate, Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career and gain exposure to a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the commercial management of projects
  • Assist with valuations, variations and cost reporting
  • Help manage subcontractor procurement and accounts
  • Maintain project documentation and records
  • Liaise with project managers, clients and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial support role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
