SRG are working with an established engineering and construction business in County Durham who are looking to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate, Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career and gain exposure to a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support the commercial management of projects
- Assist with valuations, variations and cost reporting
- Help manage subcontractor procurement and accounts
- Maintain project documentation and records
- Liaise with project managers, clients and suppliers
Requirements:
- Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial support role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
