Salary: up to Β£30,000 dependant on experience

SRG is working with an independent contract manufacturer of personal care and skincare products, based in West Yorkshire. They are now looking for a Production and Quality Technician to join the team. You would join a growing production team, playing a key role in ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance. Working closely with production and operational teams, you'll be responsible for product testing, quality inspections, documentation control and audit readiness, helping to ensure products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the factory floor, solving problems, driving improvements and making a real impact on product quality.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, 30 minute lunch break.

Role / Description:

  • Carry out quality testing on raw materials, in-process batches and finished products, including pH, viscosity and stability assessments.
  • Manage batch records, specifications and quality documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
  • Investigate quality issues, customer complaints and non-conformances, driving effective corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production and site teams to maintain product quality and minimise disruption.
  • Support audits, traceability activities, product release and process validation.
  • Monitor material availability and support stock control activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and manufacturing performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in QA or QC within a manufacturing environment, ideally chemicals, cosmetics, personal care, FMCG or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of quality systems, compliance standards and root cause investigation.
  • Can work in a fast paced and collaborative manufacturing setting.
  • Full right to work in the UK - there is no sponsorship available for this role.
