SRG are partnering exclusively with a leading pharmaceutical company who currently require an experienced Health Economics Modeller to join them on a temporary basis.
This assignment is expected to span an initial 6 months and offers significant remote working flexibility.
Within this role, the successful candidate will provide the Global HTA Analytics team with advanced economic modelling support and will work across multiple therapy areas and stages of asset development.
The individual will be responsible for developing HTA submission-ready cost-effectiveness models from scratch, supporting affiliates throughout the submission process, and contributing to evidence generation activities including indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs), network meta-analyses (NMAs), and matched-adjusted indirect comparisons (MAICs).
Experience supporting submissions across multiple HTA markets would be highly advantageous.
- Revised Skills / Experience Required
- MSc or MPhil (required) or Ph D (preferred) in Health Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Extensive experience developing HTA submission-ready cost-effectiveness models from scratch, including model conceptualisation, structure design, implementation, validation, and documentation.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience beyond budget impact modelling, including cost-utility and cost-effectiveness analyses used in reimbursement submissions.
- Expert knowledge of health economic modelling methodologies and their application within global HTA environments.
- Advanced Excel modelling skills, including development of complex economic models and VBA programming.
- Strong experience developing Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITCs) from scratch, including both Network Meta-Analyses (NMA) and Matched-Adjusted Indirect Comparisons (MAIC).
- Proficiency in R programming for the development, execution, and validation of NMAs, MAICs, and related evidence synthesis analyses.
- Experience supporting HTA submissions and responding to HTA agency questions across multiple international markets is highly desirable.
- Experience working closely with global, regional, and local affiliates to adapt models and evidence packages for country-specific reimbursement submissions.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex projects, and operate effectively within a global matrix organisation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
