Contract Duration = 6 months, extendable

Working as an integral part of a creative team including Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Editors, Content and Brand Strategists, the Healthcare Copywriter is responsible for developing ideas and copy that creatively deliver on strategies and support the clients’ creative tones. The goal is to turn complex clinical data into creative concepts and persuasive copy, directed at HCP’s & patients across multiple platforms (from congress booth design through to social media.)
While writing copy is the day-to-day focus, understanding and contributing to the visual and emotional expression of the ideas is also part of the role.
As an experienced Healthcare Copywriter, you must be an expert in writing copy to the highest scientific and grammatical standards for a range of medical education and communications materials and target audiences
You should be a brand product information specialist and have the knowledge to source written materials (referencing) for a client’s Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review board.
Experience required:
• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare advertising agencies or related Healthcare / Pharma industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life science, biology, medical science or any related medical field
• Significant experience working from creative briefs (evaluation through ideation through execution)
• Significant experience writing clear and engaging copy (portfolio required)
• Experience working and collaborating in complex matrix environments
• Proven ability to write clear, cohesive creative copy for multiple channels (print and digital, TV/video, social)
• Understands how to use and apply medical references and validate ahead of MLR submissions
• Work with US and International marketing teams to create strong strategic marketing collateral
• Actively explores the Healthcare Marketing arena.
• Knowledgeable in trends of a variety of therapeutic areas.
Location: Ireland or UK based
Contract role, Daily rates.
