SRG are seeking a Head of Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical design function across capital projects for an EPC client. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving engineering excellence, shaping technical strategy, and ensuring high-quality electrical design delivery from concept through commissioning. The role can be remote, with occasional travel to project sites and client meetings. You will combine hands-on design expertise with strategic leadership, guiding a growing electrical engineering team while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design function across capital projects for the EPC client, from concept through commissioning.
- Provide senior technical leadership and drive engineering excellence and quality in electrical design delivery.
- Shape technical strategy and ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Combine hands-on design work with strategic management, guiding a growing electrical engineering team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders including other engineering disciplines, project management, and clients.
- Travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in electrical design engineering, ideally within the life science sector.
- Proven ability to deliver design and build projects across all stages of the lifecycle.
- Strong capability in hands-on design, including calculations, schematics, layouts, load studies, and technical assessments.
- Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modelling / calculation software.
