SRG is working with a leading beauty and cosmetics manufacturer in Hampshire who are looking for 2x QC Microbiology Technicians to join the team. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on with lab-based testing, releases and quality investigations across raw materials, mass and finished goods. It would suit someone with experience in a QC role within a GMP manufacturing environment, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals or another heavily regulated industry, or a graduate looking to build a career in industry.

Working Hours:

  • 1ST ROLE - Monday to Friday can either do 2PM -10pm (40h per week) OR Monday to Friday 3PM - 11PM (40h per week)
  • 2ND ROLE Wednesday to Sunday - shifts TBC (40h per week)

Role / Description:

  • Testing and releasing raw materials, mass, and finished goods against spec, keeping production moving safely
  • Keeping a close eye on critical control parameters and flagging anything out of trend before it becomes a problem
  • Running environmental monitoring and validation testing across the lab
  • Reviewing test data, logbooks, and calculations to support confident release decisions
  • Digging into quality issues, supporting OOS investigations, and helping close out consumer complaints
  • Logging results accurately in SAP/LIMS and preparing Certificates of Analysis
  • Writing and updating SOPs, and training colleagues on new techniques as they come in

Requirements:

  • Solid grounding in lab-based analytical testing, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing
  • Comfortable and confident in QC testing and wet chemistry analysis

Sponsorship is not available for this role. Visa applicants can still be considered, provided you already hold the right to work in the UK for the full 12-month duration of the contract.
