SRG are delighted to be partnered with a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer who have established a pharmaceutical production site in the Scottish Borders. As part of their growth they are now looking for a full-time, permanent head of production to join their team. The Role As Head of Production for a new manufacturing site you will start off by helping the organisation through the initial validation and regulatory approvals, working alongside Home Office and MHRA representatives. This includes authoring of SOPs assisting with audit/inspection readiness, working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines Afterwards you will be involved in the day-to-day build-up of the Production site and team, being heavily involved in the recruitment of more junior staff members and working alongside the quality department to establish a fully compliant production capability. The Right Person This is a key hire for the role so naturally personality fit must also be correct, however to be successful in this role you must; Have extensive experience in GMP environments Have previous leadership experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry Have demonstrable experience in validation, SOP authoring and similar activities Must be able to work onsite in Galashiels 4 days per week - assistance with accommodation can be arrangedGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Vertage Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
