We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our client in Grangemouth. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Information Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems. You will work with a variety of systems/coding languages to link production from top to bottom.
Accountabilities
- Deliver a key automation service to multiple business units.
- Utilise in-depth knowledge of SQL server to design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop custom applications using C#, HTML and Java to extend the functionality of our manufacturing execution systems.
- Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces and dashboards for monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on system functionalities and best practices.
- Follow safe systems of work for all daily activities, providing the highest HSEQ standards.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and experience with SQL server, including database design, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of C#, HTML for developing custom applications and web interfaces, with a strong understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of AVEVA System Platform or similar products would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and proven use of AI to develop code would be an advantage, but not essential.
