Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Sussex

Salary: £47,500 rising to £50,000 after the probation period

Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

SRG are currently seeking a Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a successful and growing client based in West Sussex. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maximising plant availability and reliability. You’ll ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard while contributing to ongoing engineering and process optimisation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high operational availability and an efficient breakdown response service
  • Diagnose equipment faults and complete effective repairs within minimal downtime
  • Develop and execute a programme of preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Maintain accurate records and identify recurring issues to drive long-term technical solutions
  • Complete minor maintenance tasks and equipment adjustments
  • Work collaboratively with external contractors on specialist maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and stay up to date with relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong electrical maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing or process environment.
