Location: Commutable from the West Yorkshire region
SRG are currently recruiting for an EC&I Engineer to lead maintenance strategy, compliance and technical delivery across a processing environment. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy, responsibility and visibility.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Lead site-wide EC&I maintenance strategy, proactive and reactive
- Act as Responsible Person for electrical work, isolations & LOTOTO (415V/110V/240V)
- Ensure compliance with DSEAR, COMAH and functional safety standards
- Oversee all instrument calibration, loop checks and verification
- Maintain and develop DCS systems in partnership with automation/IT
- Provide EC&I technical leadership across all projects, including design reviews, FAT/SAT and commissioning
- Support HAZOPs, risk assessments, and safety case development
- Ensure accurate technical documentation and CMMS data
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance and Projects to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
Criteria:
- C&G 18th Edition & Electrical Installation
- DSEAR / COMPEX experience
- Strong planning, problem-solving and contractor management skills
- Knowledge of HSWA, CDM, DSEAR and safe systems of work
- Confident with RAMS, PTW and risk assessments
- Clear communication and solid stakeholder management
- IEC 61508 / 61511 SIL knowledge.
