Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
Working Arrangement: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
This Graduate Programme will give you a broad range of invaluable skills and experiences to start your HR career and will give you the opportunity to make a difference to the millions of people who rely on our products and the performance of our business. You will work within an experienced team and receive mentoring from senior HR professionals. Through your hands-on work, you will gain knowledge and invaluable experience to develop your core skills within areas of HR compliance, including employment law and employment tax, and support the local implementation of programs from our global centres of excellence.
Job Purpose:
- Be the Point of Contact in the team for immigration Right to Work (RTW) checks.
- Ensure all regular RTW checks for non-UK nationals are completed and tracked.
- Support the running of a smooth onboarding experience for our new joiners.
- Work closely with the HR Country Head supporting him with HR governance.
- Support the UK Head of Employment and Expatriate Taxes with compliance tasks such as:
- Reviewing monthly payroll calculations for our Modified Payroll (for international assignees), relocation costs and company share/equity events.
- Post Employment Notice Pay calculations.
- Maintaining tracking system and process for associates working overseas on personal travel.
- Raising purchase orders for vendors and goods receipting.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes.
- Shadowing the UK Head of Employment and Expatriate Taxes to assist and deliver as required.

We are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:
- Recent bachelor’s degree in business, HR, tax/finance or employment law related study field.
- Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies.
- Clear motivation and ambition to gain HR/employment tax experience in a corporate environment.
- Evidence of skills transferable to the business environment (e.g., good time management, teamwork).
- Experience of successfully working with teams through work, academic and/or extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrated proactivity – ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative, taking responsibility and driving projects and activities to a successful conclusion.
- Analytical thinking - but also able to act quickly and decisively as needed.
- High proficiency in mathematical analysis – demonstrating strong logical reasoning and meticulous attention to detail.
- Prioritisation - manages multiple priorities well, demonstrating good attention to detail under tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Collaboration & teamwork - can develop effective relationships with team and customers, gaining trust and credibility quickly.
- Customer focused - delivering high quality projects and activities to internal and external groups with awareness and responsiveness to their needs.
- Excellent communication skills. Can communicate complex data to a wide range of professional and lay audiences, adapting their wording and style to suit.
- Fluency in English - verbal and written - is required and any other European language would be an asset.
You must demonstrate good judgement and discretion and be able to manage sensitive and confidential situations and documentation appropriately. You will be IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PPT skills and Word at Advanced Level.
Additional Information:
Please ensure that you are willing and able to live within commutable distance of the company site before applying. This Graduate placement is based in White City in London and whilst we support hybrid working, we would expect the intern to be in the office at least 3 days per week. You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
