About the role
We’re looking for a skilled Building Management Systems Engineer to join our cross functional Engineering division.
You will work within our engineering team to perform optimisation works and carry out planned, preventative and reactive BMS maintenance to deliver impactful solutions, and ensure smooth, efficient operations for our clients, on Trend, Cylon and Tridium systems.
We work with a range of Companies including well-known brands and high-end delivery and service is core to everything we do.

- Overtime rates of 1.5 or 2 x hourly rate depending on the day and time of overtime performed if applicable
- Working away payment of 3.75 hours per night if you are asked and agree to stay overnight to complete client works
- On-call payment of £35 a day for time spent on call outside of working hours
If you choose to take an electric company car following your probation period you will have the ability to choose from available options within our company criteria, examples include VW ID7 and Polestar 2 or 3 models (subject to availability).
Our contractual hours are 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday) however due to the nature of the work and client requirements there may need to be on call or complete overtime and pay for this is always provided as detailed.

What you’ll be able to offer
- Experience in the maintenance of Building Management Systems
- Qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Ideally equal to HNC/ONC)
- Trend qualifications or proven equivalent experience. Tridium, Cylon, Delta also desirable.
- ECS/CSCS Gold card holder
- Full UK drivers’ license
- Eligibility to work in the UK

What you’ll actually do
- Undertake site based and remote BMS system maintenance
- Fault finding BMS related controls issues and identifying the route cause from software to HVAC plant
- Delivery of project works including high level integration and energy optimisation
- Liaise with internal management, clients and third parties to achieve project goals
- Support installation and commissioning site works
- Develop and deploy BMS and energy optimisation works
- Support the growth of the business by expanding skills through development and training as well as sharing knowledge and skills with others to aid in growth of the overall project delivery team
- Work in a team environment; motivating and supporting all team members during the lifecycle of a project
- Build and maintain relationship with the clients, looking after the needs of their sites, and making improvements where applicable
