Analytical Lead required, based in Cheshire on a permanent basis. Degree in Chemistry (or similar) essential, with recent, proven industrial experience of developing analytical methods. Method Development in Chromatography (HPLC, GPC, GC, GC-MS) but other techniques will be considered including NMR, IR etc.
SRG are currently working with a global business who have developed an innovative chemical process with applications across coatings, construction materials and the automotive industry, as well other sectors. They are now looking for an Analytical Lead to join their busy team, based at their site in Cheshire on a permanent basis. This role will involve supporting the Laboratory Manager in developing analytical methods, supporting scale-up activity and carrying out routine analysis. This role will suit experienced analytical chemists with experience in developing methods, who are looking to join a highly successful and innovative business.

Role / Description:
- Developing analytical methods to support quality processes
- Analytical techniques include GC-(MS), HPLC, GPC and NMR amongst others
- Supporting in the validation of analytical methods
- Reporting data to a wide range of audiences including both technical and non-technical
- Analysing and reporting of results of analysis
- Supporting in the maintenance, troubleshooting and upkeep of analytical techniques
- Building strong relationships both internally and externally
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc degree in Chemistry (or similar)
- Recent, proven background in developing analytical methods
- Proactive and committed approach, with good communication and team-working skills
