The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Metabolomics Platform within Product Safety, supporting the development of active ingredients through cutting‑edge research. This unique position combines hands‑on data generation in a state‑of‑the‑art laboratory with scientific administration of outsourced studies, offering collaboration across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze biological samples by LC‑MS after relevant training in core assays.
• Ensure data quality and liaise with bioinformaticians for efficient study delivery.
• Provide technical support in the lab, including reagent preparation, sample management, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Coordinate outsourcing of metabolomics data generation and manage relationships with partner contract labs.
• Collate documents and maintain study management templates.
• Develop expertise in metabolomics principles to provide technical advice and quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline.
• Hands‑on analytical chemistry experience with LC‑MS.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
• Quick learner with adaptability to new techniques.
• Experience in scientific study management.
• Familiarity with outsourcing services through third‑party organizations.
• Metabolomics experience, particularly LC‑HRAM‑MS (Orbitrap technology) and quality control procedures.
