Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or similar to join a forward-thinking and fast-growing company with a new base here in Gibraltar. As the Financial Controller you will be a hands-on finance professional who will thrive in a small team/start-up environment. Your responsibilities will cover the local Gibraltar finance function, and the successful applicant will work closely with and be supported by the UK finance team based in the London office.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Ownership of local monthly management accounts and all aspects of financial reporting.
  • Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives, offering financial insights and risk assessments.
  • Budget and Forecasting information with KPI analysis.
  • Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, cost-saving initiatives, and profitability improvement.
  • Drive process optimisation and automation of financial controls.
  • Work closely with our UK based finance team.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role:

  • Qualified finance professional ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar.
  • Ideally will have experience gained within a similar role/industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills (reporting skills in general) and experience with SAGE accounting software.
  • Credible and confident communicator at all levels of the business.
  • Must have the desire to grow and develop your career in this role.
