What are we looking for

We are expanding rapidly & looking for exceptional individuals to come on board & add value to our transport team – could that be you?

  • An Enthusiastic, positive, confident, committed driver who learns quickly & is happy working under pressure in a busy team environment.
  • Must have a Class 2 HGV Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Must have an in-date Driver Tachograph Card & Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
  • Needs to have strong communication skills, a willingness to take instruction, be cooperative & flexible & be confident enough to ask for help where needed.
  • A driver with good working knowledge of southeast road networks, happy to work in & out of London as required.

We do train, if you fit the bill but don’t have all the skill – we will invest in you talk to us!

Job Description

Operate an HGV Tipping vehicle in a safe & professional manner, delivering products to our customers, providing an excellent customer service.

  • Safe vehicle loading & unloading/tipping of multiple aggregate & waste products
  • Be able to conduct daily walk round check Inspections of the vehicle & record defects accurately
  • Ability to use a driver defect App, Sat Nav unit & electronic POD
  • Accuracy & attention to detail required.
  • Carry out deliveries in a timely & safe manner & provide excellent customer service acting as an ambassador for SRC Group.
  • Drive the vehicle safely, minimising damage, reporting any incidents or accidents.
  • Work in accordance with the law, highway code, environmental requirements & adhering to all company procedures, standards & policies.
  • Operate a digital tachograph & have a clear understanding of tachograph & working time legislation.
  • Keep the vehicle clean both inside & out, removal of contaminant from inside the vehicle body as required.
  • Perform any other duty required by the company.
