The Head of Trade Finance will be the driving force behind global trade finance acquisition, SME onboarding, and capital inflows into the $SRC Ecosystem. This leader must bring a proven track record in trade finance sales, particularly with SMEs, midâmarket corporates, banks, NBFIs, private credit funds, and institutional lenders.
You will lead the expansion of trade volumes across highâvalue corridors and secure consistent liquidity inflow to accelerate tokenized trade financing. This is a role for a senior sales executive who can bring networks, relationships, and immediate opportunities from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Lead global sales strategy for onboarding exporters, importers, freight forwarders, and SME trading companies.
- Acquire largeâvolume trade clients across major corridors (AsiaâEurope, Middle EastâEurope, IndiaâAfrica, ChinaâMiddle East, etc.).
- Drive adoption of tokenized trade finance among SMEs and midâmarket corporates.
- Expand usage of digital trade documents (BL, WR, invoices), credit scoring, and smart contractâbased financing across the ecosystem.
- Onboard institutional lenders, private credit funds, family offices, banks, and fintech NBFIs to finance tokenized trades.
- Build and maintain a diversified liquidity pool through the onboarding of LPs across global financial hubs.
- Drive inflow of capital into the platform by promoting assetâbacked yields with secure on/off ramp options.
- Develop longâterm partnerships with credit funds, alternative investors, and impact finance institutions.
- Open and develop highâtrade corridors with strong import/export flows.
- Bring existing clients and partnerships capable of generating immediate trade volume.
- Design regional growth strategies in the Middle East, EU, India, China, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
- Collaborate with trade associations, chambers of commerce, and industry organizations.
- Work directly with CEO, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Risk Officer to optimize onboarding flows, credit models, and product features.
- Collaborate with marketing to build sales narratives, case studies, and regional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with AML/KYC/KYB standards for SMEs and institutional LPs.
- Guide the creation of scalable sales playbooks, scoring flows, and partner networks.
- 10+ years in trade finance sales, supply chain finance, factoring, invoice financing, or assetâbacked lending.
- Previous leadership roles in banks, fintechs, NBFIs, or private credit institutions.
- Strong network of SME exporters/importers, trade intermediaries, chambers of commerce, private credit funds, institutional lenders, treasury and trade heads at banks.
- Proven ability to bring immediate deal flow and trade volume.
- Deep understanding of open account trade, crossâborder payments, trade credit risk, invoice and receivables financing, BL/WR/Invoice document flows, FX, settlement, and liquidity flows.
- Familiarity with digital trade platforms, tokenization, or fintechâdriven SCF solutions (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exceptional dealâmaking ability.
