As an Accountant in Practice, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive accounting services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, analysing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining our high standards of service and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Perform financial analysis and review client data to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.

  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on financial matters and compliance requirements.

  • Assist clients with tax planning, preparation, and filing.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Minimum of three years of experience as an Accountant in Practice.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.

  • Proficiency in using accounting Iris and Xero software and tools.

  • Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritise tasks effectively., GCSE or equivalent (preferred), accounting: 3 years (preferred)
