Senior Firmware Security TesterFirmware / Embedded Systems / Hardware Security / Reverse Engineering / Outside IR35 / Remote / £400-500pd / Ad-hocThe RoleSR2 are working with a specialist Cyber Security Consultancy to recruit a Senior Firmware Security Tester to work on high-profile projects with household names and global companies. You’ll assess and exploit vulnerabilities in embedded devices, firmware, and hardware, helping secure critical systems against sophisticated threats. The consultancy are looking for someone to engage on an ad-hoc basis, with work frequency dependant on active projects.Required ExperienceProven experience testing firmware, embedded systems, and hardware platform.Strong skills in reverse engineering, and exploit development.Familiarity with platforms like ARM, MIPS, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or bare metal environments.Experience with tools such as JTAG/Serial debuggers, IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binwalk.Please apply now or get in contact with me directly (Ben Sheppard) if this role looks like a good fit.
