Security Assurance Lead - SC Cleared

We're supporting a major UK Government programme and are looking for an experienced Security Assurance Lead to join a high-profile, multi-supplier delivery environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in assuring the security of critical technology solutions, working closely with delivery teams, architects, suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure by design and aligned to government security standards.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Security Assurance Lead, Security Assurance Manager or Accreditor within Government, telecoms or other complex regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NCSC guidance, Secure by Design, HMG security standards and risk management.
  • Experience working across large, complex programmes with multiple suppliers.
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge.
  • Experience reviewing technical security architectures and designs.
  • Active SC Clearance is essential.

Desirable

  • Experience within telecoms, critical national infrastructure or emergency services.
  • Knowledge of 4G/5G networks, Zero Trust, cloud security and modern enterprise architecture.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, ISO27001, SABSA, TOGAF or AWS Security.

  • Hybrid working - approximately 2 days per week in London (Stratford) or Bristol
