Job Title: Holistic Incident Response Manager (WARP)\\n Location: Hybrid β Reading (2 days/week onsite, travel expensed)\\n Clearance: Active SC clearance required\\n Contract Type: Inside IR35\\n Duration: 6 months\\n Start Date: ASAP\\n\\n Overview:\\n An exciting opportunity to join a nationally significant programme within the defence and national security sector, delivering critical cyber resilience outcomes. Weβre seeking an experienced Incident Response Manager to lead cyber readiness and response activities, including the development and coordination of a Warning, Advice and Reporting Point (WARP) capability.\\n Youβll be responsible for aligning incident response frameworks with national cyber standards, improving incident preparedness, and coordinating internal and external cyber stakeholders.\\n\\n Key Responsibilities:\\n\\nLead the design and implementation of incident response processes and WARP capability\\nAct as the central liaison between internal teams, national cyber bodies, and threat-sharing communities\\nOwn and maintain incident response playbooks, escalation paths, and post-incident reviews\\nAlign policies and procedures with frameworks such as NIST 800-61, ISO27035, and NCSC guidance\\nCoordinate threat communications and ensure organisational readiness across multiple functionsEssential Skills & Experience:\\n\\nProven leadership in cyber incident response within secure or regulated environments\\nExperience with WARP or trusted threat-sharing models\\nFamiliarity with government or defence cyber frameworks (e.g. NIST, NCSC, ISO27035)\\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\\nMust hold active SC clearanceIf you're available immediately and experienced in leading incident response in high-assurance settings, weβd like to hear from you
