I am looking for two experienced Manual Test Analysts who are eligible for SC Clearance or have it already (to be eligible you need to hold a British passport) to join a leading software company, working on site at Corsham, Wiltshire 2 days per week and the chance to work remotely the rest of the time. You’ll be part of a skilled test team, supporting integration and end-to-end testing across long-term, high profile ethical defence projects. This is a predominantly manual testing environment, with plans to introduce more automation in the future, so a strong grounding in manual testing is essential. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of testers, developers, and project managers to ensure quality is built in at every stage. Responsibilities include test planning, execution, and reporting of new or changed capabilities, functional integration, end-to-end and API testing, test data creation and management, and raising/reporting defects using Jira. You’ll also help provide client-side assurance of 3rd party supplier testing and work with Business and Process Owners to derive test cases representing high levels of coverage. They need one more senior Tester and one more mid level. The Senior Test Engineer role additionally involves mentoring and supporting junior testers and contributing to test strategy improvements. Experience of ITSM, ITIL, and ServiceNow is essential, while previous exposure to test automation is desirable. The consultancy employs over 1,200 people in the UK with an office in Bristol (and in this case a client in Corsham) and are split into smaller specialist divisions with real autonomy. They pride themselves on a people first culture, promoting collaboration, flexibility, and progression. Wellbeing is a priority, overtime isn’t encouraged, and there’s strong support for personal development through cross-project exposure and internal tech guilds. To be considered, you’ll need to be a British citizen and SC clearable, ideally consultancy or defence sector experience and a solid grounding in manual testing. Salaries are between £45,000 and £64,000 depending on experience. If you’d like to hear more please apply below to Sam Miller at SR2– Socially Responsible Recruitment
