You would be joining a fast-growing aerospace and UAV business building next-generation heavy lift drone platforms for real-world defence and logistics applications. The work is varied, hands-on and closely tied to live engineering projects. You will work directly with engineers and technicians machining precision components used on cutting-edge autonomous aircraft, with the chance to see your work go from prototype through to flight testing.

The role includes:

  • Manual milling and turning
  • Programming and setting 3-axis VMC machinery
  • Working from engineering drawings and CAD data
  • Supporting prototype and low-volume builds
  • Collaborating closely with hardware and R&D

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong machining experience (manual and/or CNC)
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset
  • Experience working with metallics and plastics
