SR2 is supporting a high-profile, customer-facing programme and is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join on a contract basis. Due to the nature of the role, candidates will require active SC clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Take ownership of technical outcomes and support teams through design and delivery
- Lead technical decision-making and take a balanced approach to technology selection
- Work closely with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists
- Support the integration of authentication and identity services across user-facing applications
- Influence senior stakeholders and support evidence-based technical decision-making
Essential skills
- Strong experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar architecture-focused role
- Strong software development background
- Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies
- Good working knowledge of OIDC and OAuth
- Experience designing user-facing web or application integrations
- Strong AWS/cloud experience
- Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused digital services
- Strong understanding of application architecture, security and scalability
- Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of continuous delivery and DevOps cultures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
