We’re seeking an experienced Solution Architect for a short-term engagement to review an organisation’s current systems landscape, business continuity planning (BCP), and cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-level review of existing systems across all business areas.
- Map system architecture, integrations, data flows, and governance.
- Assess BCP arrangements, identifying resilience gaps and recovery risks.
- Conduct a light-touch cyber maturity review, identifying key vulnerabilities and control gaps.
- Engage stakeholders to understand current workflows, usage, and pain points.
- Identify duplication, scalability issues, and opportunities for simplification.
- Produce a clear, actionable summary of findings and recommendations.
- (Optional) Support a follow-on data discovery workstream.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in solution/enterprise architecture and systems audits.
- Strong understanding of business continuity and cybersecurity principles.
- Comfortable navigating legacy, bespoke, and lightly governed systems.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across IT and non-technical teams.
- Able to work independently and deliver concise, high-impact outputs.
- Sector experience in membership, education, public or third sector is desirable.
