We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant to join a Cyber Compliance function supporting compliance with the Network and Information Systems (NIS) Regulations. This role acts as an operational lead within the compliance team, responsible for driving assurance activity, holding delivery teams to account, and ensuring robust evidence is produced to demonstrate ongoing compliance.
The role requires a strong blend of GRC capability, cyber security knowledge, and delivery discipline, with the credibility to engage technical teams, programme leads, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as operational lead for the Cyber Compliance team, coordinating priorities and day-to-day assurance activity.
- Lead and oversee NIS determination activities, ensuring assessments are completed accurately and consistently.
- Hold teams to account for gathering, validating, and maintaining NIS compliance evidence.
- Review compliance determinations, challenge gaps, and ensure evidence meets regulatory and audit expectations.
- Provide assurance across NIS activities, risk assessments, and control implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining compliance processes, documentation, and tooling.
- Maintain and improve compliance artefacts and guidance, including materials hosted on SharePoint.
- Support the automation of compliance and reporting processes (e.g. Power Automate, dashboards).
- Support and mentor junior team members, onboarding them into NIS determination and evidence processes.
