We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a multidisciplinary Agile team, building, testing, deploying and supporting secure, cloud-native digital services at scale.

You will work primarily with AWS, TypeScript and Node.js, following modern engineering practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming and continuous delivery.

Rate: £465 per day

IR35: Outside IR35

Contract: Initial contract until the end of the year

Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in London

Start: ASAP

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing and maintaining serverless applications using AWS, TypeScript and Node.js
  • Writing comprehensive automated tests and delivering high-quality code using TDD
  • Building and managing infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and SAM
  • Supporting live services, investigating production issues and driving continuous improvement
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and technical design discussions
  • Working collaboratively through pair programming and other modern engineering practices
  • Collaborating with Architects, SREs, Product Owners, Delivery Managers and other technical stakeholders
  • Helping deliver reliable, secure and scalable digital services

  • Strong commercial experience developing applications using TypeScript and Node.js

  • Experience working within Agile, cross-functional delivery teams
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control
  • Experience supporting live or production services
