Working as part of a high-performing agile delivery team, you'll take ownership of the product backlog and delivery roadmap, ensuring initiatives and epics are clearly defined, prioritised, and aligned to strategic goals. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Product Owner who enjoys shaping digital services from concept through to delivery, in a modern cloud-based and data-driven environment. Due to the nature of the work, active SC clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and delivery-ready.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elaborate initiatives and epics into actionable work items.
  • Prioritise competing requirements to maximise value delivery across multiple agile teams.
  • Support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of the agile delivery cycle.
  • Work with Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, and technical leads to maintain alignment between strategy and implementation.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies across delivery and leadership teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager on complex agile software government delivery projects.
  • Active SC clearance.
  • Confident managing backlogs, roadmaps, and stakeholder expectations in fast-moving delivery settings.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, comfortable interacting with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile teams (engineering, QA, DevOps).
  • Ideally certified in Scrum Product Ownership (CSPO/PSPO) or equivalent.
