The opportunity:
They are on a mission to equip investors with the tools to steward their capital responsibly. Millions of people contribute towards our investment system yet most people have no control or visibility about where their money is going and therefore no choice on the impact they can make with their money. They have built an incredible platform which is changing the way voting is done, and done for good. They’re now scaling both their core platform and a brand-new AI product.
We are hiring for 3-4 roles for the team: a fullstack engineer, 2 backend software engineers and a platform focused engineer.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll focus on building robust, scalable backend systems and APIs that support voting workflows, reporting, and new AI-driven research capabilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs
- Working on workflow systems that support large-scale voting operations
- Prototyping and productionising AI-enabled features
- Refactoring and modernising legacy services
- Collaborating closely with engineers, product and operations
What you’ll bring:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience writing production code in Go, Python or TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs (gRPC a bonus)
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex problems
