We are seeking a Python Dashboard Developer to support a major defence maritime build programme. The role will focus on developing and delivering a validated Python-based tool designed to support operational and programme-level decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with programme and client stakeholders to iterate the tool based on user feedback, enhance functionality following initial use, and ensure the application is structured for containerisation and deployment via Docker.

This is a short, delivery-focused assignment suited to someone who can move quickly, build clean and deployable Python scripts, and work effectively in a fast-paced defence programme environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a validated Python tool to support client decision-making.
  • Iterate functionality based on feedback from programme and client stakeholders.
  • Develop clean, modular and deployable Python scripts.
  • Structure scripts and application components for containerisation.
  • Containerise the application using Docker.
  • Support rapid prototyping, validation and refinement of dashboard functionality.
