We're supporting a consultancy partner in the delivery of a key digital transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme, working within multidisciplinary agile teams to design intuitive, accessible and user-focused digital experiences.
The Role
As an Interaction Designer, you'll play a key role in designing services that are simple, accessible and effective for users. You'll work closely with researchers, content designers, service designers, developers and product managers to create user journeys and interaction patterns that meet both user needs and government service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centred digital journeys and interactions
- Produce wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary agile teams throughout the design life cycle
- Translate user research into practical interaction design solutions
- Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively
Essential Experience
- Commercial experience as an Interaction Designer within agile delivery teams
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
- Experience designing digital services from discovery through delivery
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (eg Figma)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Clearance
BPSS clearance is required. Candidates who have completed BPSS within the last 3-6 months are particularly desirable. New BPSS applications can be supported where required.
