SR2 Consulting is working with a leading consultancy on a greenfield mobile build for a financial services client. This is a from-scratch build - no Legacy code, no technical debt to unpick, just a clean slate and the chance to shape the architecture and engineering standards from day one.

We are looking for a Contract React Native Engineer with genuine financial services experience - this is non-negotiable. The right candidate will understand the regulatory, security and data handling considerations that come with building mobile applications for FS clients, and will bring that awareness into every technical decision from the outset.

  • Comfortable working on a greenfield build - confident making architectural decisions and setting standards for others to follow.
  • Strong fundamentals across mobile app architecture, state management, native module integration and performance optimisation.
  • Used to working within a consultancy delivery model - able to integrate quickly with an existing team and ways of working.
  • Comfortable operating in a regulated environment, with the discipline around code quality, testing and security that this requires.
