SR2 is supporting an award-winning consultancy in line with a new project they have secured. These roles will be outside IR35, remote and with good longevity (initial 6 month contract). They're expanding their engineering team with a new Senior Geospatial Engineer to develop immersive, interactive tools built on modern game engines and web technologies. This role is part of a multidisciplinary Agile team focused on delivering high-performance, secure systems for operational use in complex environments. You'll have the opportunity to shape feature development and continuously improve delivery standards.

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong experience developing with Unreal Engine or Godot in simulation/gaming environments
  • Familiar with Agile ways of working, including team ceremonies and sprint planning
  • Ability to produce accurate delivery estimates and work collaboratively across sprints
  • Skilled in creating responsive, mobile-friendly layouts to ensure cross-device performance
  • Experience with performance tuning across applications and databases to optimise system speed
  • Hands-on experience implementing application security fixes based on pen test outputs
  • Strong attention to code quality and documentation standards
  • Able to identify and lead on process/tooling improvements to enhance engineering efficiency
