Palantir Foundry Application Engineer SR2 are working in partnership with a leading consultancy delivering critical data infrastructure and transformation work across the NHS, supporting the Federated Data Platform (FDP) initiative. We're looking for a highly skilled Palantir Foundry Application Engineer to join a specialist team embedded in NHS projects to drive value from data in real-world healthcare settings.
You'll be working directly with NHS organisations to implement and optimise Palantir Foundry, contributing to frontline digital transformation. This role combines hands-on engineering with close collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders to design, develop and deliver data-driven applications that improve care outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with NHS data analysts, clinicians, and operational teams to build impactful Foundry-based workflows and applications.
- Develop and maintain pipelines, ontology objects, and operational dashboards using Palantir's ontology and Foundry platform.
- Translate NHS Trust needs into scalable solutions that support key outcomes including resource planning, waiting list management, and bed optimisation.
Desired experience:
- Strong experience as an Application Engineer/Developer in Palantir Foundry, ideally on a public sector or healthcare programme.
- Comfortable building robust, user-friendly tools in Foundry using Code Workbook, Ontology, Operational Workflow (OWF), and Application Builder.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation or analytics programmes, ideally in the UK healthcare space.
- Familiarity with NHS data sets, governance practices, and clinical workflows is a bonus.
This is a long term inside IR35 role looking to start ASAP. This would require 2-3 days a week on site in the London office.
