SR2 are supporting a government programme and seeking an experienced DV-Cleared Cloud Engineer to work within a highly secure environment on complex, large-scale cloud-native systems. This role suits an engineer with strong automation, AWS, and containerisation experience who can operate confidently in multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Automate application and infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment within a secure environment.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimisation and cloud engineering best practice.
- Apply strong security principles across cloud and containerised workloads.
- Work collaboratively as part of an Agile/Scrum, cross-functional engineering team.
- Support continuous improvement across tooling, processes, and delivery approaches.
- Proven Cloud/DevOps engineering experience in secure or complex environments.
- AWS (CloudFormation, ECS; AWS Developer Tools an advantage).
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD automation (ideally DroneCI).
- Git (GitHub or GitLab).
- Advanced Linux administration and Bash Scripting.
- Ansible.
- Strong understanding of security best practice (e.g., mTLS, security groups, HTTP security headers).
- Confident working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams with strong communication skills.
Security Clearance: Active DV clearance is essential for this position.
