This role is about being the person people turn to when electronic systems need to work first time, every time.

You will join a high-reliability electronics manufacturer operating in safety-critical and mission-critical environments, where RF, microwave and complex electronic products are built, tested and shipped at scale. Your focus is on test, diagnostics and continuous improvement - not just running test procedures, but shaping how products are verified, fault-found and released into production.

What you will be doing:

  • Designing and improving test systems and test setups
  • Turning customer and internal specifications into practical test solutions
  • Diagnosing faults down to component level
  • Supporting production with hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Programming and maintaining test systems
  • Improving test efficiency, robustness and documentation
  • Acting as a technical reference point for test and diagnostics

Why this role appeals to experienced engineers:

  • Real engineering problems, not checkbox testing
  • Hands-on work with electronics, measurement equipment and diagnostics
  • Strong collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Scope to influence test strategy and process improvement
  • Stable workload in a business that values quality and reliability

What will make you a fit:

  • Background in electrical / electronic engineering
  • Experience in electronic test, diagnostics or production engineering
  • Comfortable with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and similar tools
  • Strong fault-finding skills at circuit and component level
  • Exposure to automated test, Python/C#, or PCB tools is a bonus
  • Eligible for Security Clearance (or able to obtain)

For immediate consideration, please apply. A considerable relocation package is available for people moving from other parts of the country.
