RF Systems & Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales & Delivery) in Maidenhead | £60,000–£75,000 | Onsite + International Travel (~10%)

This isn’t a back-office RF role. You’ll be the engineer that helps win the work... and then deliver it. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and customers - designing communication systems, shaping technical solutions, and supporting bids that turn into real deployments in some of the toughest environments out there. Think underground mines, industrial sites, large-scale infrastructure - where coverage, reliability and safety are critical.

You’ll:

  • Work closely with sales and customers to design and propose RF solutions
  • Turn requirements into technical proposals, system designs and BOMs
  • Present solutions and act as the technical voice in pre-sales conversations
  • Stay involved through delivery, testing and commissioning
  • Support site surveys, system validation and troubleshooting in the field

This is a full lifecycle role - from "what does the customer need?" → "here's how we solve it" → "it's live and working."

What they’re looking for:

  • Experience with RF / wireless communication systems
  • Strong understanding of cellular, DAS, TETRA or similar technologies
  • Ability to translate technical detail into clear customer-facing solutions
  • Comfortable presenting and working in pre-sales environments
  • Experience in in-building systems, industrial comms or large-scale RF deployments is a big plus.

Why this role stands out:

  • Blend of engineering + customer impact
  • Real ownership from proposal through to delivery
  • Work on systems that are mission-critical in harsh environments
  • High visibility with both internal teams and customers

If you’re an RF engineer who enjoys being close to the customer, influencing solutions early, and then seeing them delivered - this is a strong one.
