A high-growth AI cybersecurity startup (backed by top-tier investors) is hiring its first Solutions Engineer to help scale revenue and win enterprise customers across government, defence, financial services and tech. This is a rare opportunity to build the SE function from scratch, sit close to the founders, and become the technical face of the sales motion.
What you'll do:
- Run high-impact demos to technical + business audiences
- Lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts end-to-end
- Translate complex security/AI capability into clear customer value
- Support onboarding and early deployments post-sale
- Build demo environments, sales assets and repeatable SE processes
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years in Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Pre-Sales (cybersecurity or B2B SaaS)
- Strong technical grounding (EDR, SIEM, malware, threat intel, software security etc.)
- Confident communicator who can influence deals and handle deep technical questions
- Comfortable in a startup environment - proactive, hands-on, and adaptable
- UK right to work required (no visa sponsorship)
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)
