Our client is a high-growth European technology company operating across cloud infrastructure and video delivery. They develop software-based platforms that enable broadcasters, media organisations and streaming providers to manage, process and distribute content at scale. With strong traction across multiple European markets, they are now expanding into the UK, investing in their first commercial leadership hire to build out the region. This is a true zero-to-one role with full ownership of the UK&I market.

The Opportunity: Broadcasters and content providers are undergoing a significant shift away from legacy video workflows toward more flexible, software-driven architectures that better support modern distribution demands. Our client's platform is designed to support this transition, enabling customers to modernise how video is prepared, managed and delivered across multiple environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Own UK & Ireland revenue and market development
  • Define and execute the UK go-to-market strategy
  • Build senior relationships across broadcasters, media companies, telcos and streaming platforms
  • Generate pipeline via direct sales and partner channels
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from first engagement through to close
  • Work closely with technical teams during evaluations and deployments
  • Act as the regional voice for customer and market feedback

Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years selling into broadcast, media, Pay-TV or OTT environments
  • Strong network across senior technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Experience selling infrastructure, SaaS, or complex technical solutions
  • Comfortable operating in a standalone, build environment
  • Commercially driven with the ability to navigate technical conversations
