Are you a platform engineer ready to take full ownership of maintaining and building infra and platform for a high-growth start-up? This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage, deep-tech company at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, working on technology that's pushing the limits of how machines understand and analyse complex software systems.
You’ll be joining as the first platform Engineering hire, partnering closely with the ML and Product teams to design, build, and scale the infrastructure that powers advanced AI models.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS and additional cloud providers.
- Own and evolve our multi-cloud strategy, ensuring consistency, reliability, and security across environments.
- Build reusable platform primitives for networking, secrets, storage, ingress, observability, and CI/CD.
- Enable repeatable, automated deployments for SaaS, customer-managed, and air-gapped environments.
What We’re Looking For
- Kubernetes: Production-grade clusters, networking, ingress, storage, RBAC, upgrades, and operations.
- Cloud: Deep AWS experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Load Balancing); multicloud patterns a strong plus.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (or equivalent) for repeatable, auditable environments.
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions or similar; building pipelines for both SaaS and self-hosted deployments.
- Containers: Docker/OCI, image build pipelines, registries, supply chain security.
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry.
