As ILS Manager on a major MOD programme, you'll own the question that too often gets left too late: how do we actually support this thing for the long term?
You'll sit across engineering, MOD and delivery shaping support concepts, driving supplier accountability and making sure sustainment is baked in from the start, not bolted on at the end.
You'll be driving:
- The ILS strategy across the full programme lifecycle
- Maintenance, spares, training and support concept definition
- Stakeholder influence on cost, risk and sustainment decisions
- Supplier performance against supportability requirements
You'll need:
- A strong ILS / supportability background in Defence
- Solid grasp of MOD logistics frameworks and through-life support
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders in complex environments
- The ability to set direction when perfect clarity isn't available
